Our relationship with the planet has had an enormous impact on its ecosystem, to the extent that we may soon reach the end of our journey. The pearl and coral embedded in this scenario are sensitive to changes – lets pay attention to life forms under the waves and immerse in nature as a new beginning.
Additional information about material and technique:
The pieces are made from natural sponge, 2nd hand jeans, tulle and titanium zinc, materials that all have a connection to water one way or another. Materials which originated from the ocean like the sea sponge, or jeans – a textile requiring 6813.741 liters of water before one pair reach the shop shelves, Titanium zinc – a material often used to collect and drain water in the building industry – all can be fully recycled and reused.To shape the pieces, I have used embroidery, soft solder and goldsmith techniques.

私たちと地球の関係はその生態系に非常に大きなインパクトを与えている、その広がりは私たちの旅の終わりにすぐにたどり着いてしまうだろう。このシナリオに組み込まれた真珠や珊瑚はこの変化に影響を受けるー 波の下の生命体に注意をむけ、新しい始まりとして自然に意識を集中させよう。
素材と技術について:
作品は自然のスポンジ、セカンドジーンズ、チュール、チタン亜鉛からつくられいずれにせよ水と関係している。海綿やジーンズ・・・お店に陳列されるまでこのテキスタイルはひとペアに６８１３．７４１リッターの水をひつようとする・・・チタン亜鉛はよく建物の雨水を集めるのに使用される・・・これらはリサイクルし、新たに使うことのできる素材だ。作品を形作るために、刺しゅう、柔らかなハンダ、そしてゴールドスミスのテクニックを使っている。
